Friday Fragments, for real??

Friday Fragments? What?? I havent fragmented in probably 2 years, but it's about time I do! Please join me and the fun with Mrs. 4444 :)

** So, it's been awhile, but I wont catch everyone up here. However I do have a 20 month old now, and there's never a dull moment at this house! EVER! We had been playing outside, so that's why he is bright RED! One of our 2 days to play outside, because it's supposed to be 104* tomorrow, 106* Saturday! What in the world? LOL This is crazy hot for Eastern NC!

** We got a fish this week (Thursday)! I wish my sweet Bug was big enough to name him. I'm thinking about Sherman, but I'm wanting the husband's approval first, so I'll update next week!

** My husband has been "in the sandbox" for 100 days as of yesterday (Thursday). The past 100 days have flown by and I pray that the next 100 fly as well! And hopefully it wont be a full 100 before he is HOME!!! :)

Day 100
(I tried to get the lettering on the pic and Powerpoint wasnt cooperating! GRRR)

** Speaking of 100 days, I have been posting a picture a day of Bug on my Facebook. It's nice to hear my fellow Army wives say that they too look forward to seeing his picture of the day and to see what shenanigans he's into! haha And I know my husband enjoys seeing the Bugger!!

** This is the last week to send a box to my DH!! To those of you who dont really know what that means, it usually means that they will start packing up to come home within the next two months, once they cut mail off!!! YAY!

** I went to the dentist Monday to have a regular cleaning. While there, they were looking at my xrays from the last time I was there and they said I should go ahead and get my wisdom teeth out. :( I am SO not looking forward to this! July 16th is the day. I only have two to get taken out, both on the left side, so I guess that's a good thing? My bestie (http://pearsonpress.blogspot.com/) is going to come take care of me. I love her! She is so sweet to drive 3.5 hours and bring 2 (maybe all 3) of her kids along! LOL It'll be a full house!

** I dont have a lot to fragment about. Sad, but true. I am looking forward to next week though and hopefully I'll have more fragments! I will be visiting family and celebrating Independence Day with them! My brother always puts on a crazy good fireworks show! And we might even try and go to the Atlanta zoo next week and I may have visitors next weekend! Surely I'll have more fragments then! haha

** Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully I didnt bore anyone to tears!

Until next week, always remember to take one day at a time!

How I get thru this D

How I get thru this deployment: A list...

~ PRAYER and a lot of it. I try and pray before every meal (Well, sometimes Josiah is already digging in before I sit down, but you get my drift). I praise God thru the good days when I get emails or actually hear Kyle's voice, and the "no news is good news" days. Prayer is at the top of this list!

~Faith! I have to have it or I'd go crazy! I wouldnt be able to make it thru each day if I didnt have the Faith in knowing that God is taking care of Kyle and carrying us thru this experience. I know Kyle has seen a lot over there, and having faith is something he couldnt do without in this line of work! I pretty much have to get to a point where I just hand Kyle over to God and go about my days... It's not easy, but we just do it.

~Family-  I am SO grateful that we are closer to family this go-round. Especially with J. He needs to see family so that he gets loved by more than just me. I'm sure he gets tired of seeing me all day, EVERYDAY. And usually only me! haha

~Friends- Old and new! I dont know where I'd be without the friends who have shaped me into who I am and what I do. I have had to learn who my real friends are and I love them! And for my new friends, I love them too! Being in the Army, I have made friends everywhere we've lived and I miss them all!! From NC, to MA, to GA, to SC, to TX and back to NC!! It's been fun so far and I cant wait to meet more new people along our Army journey!

~Josiah- He makes me tick everyday. During other deployments, I could just curl up in a ball and cry and cry and be all depressed. But with Josiah, I am not allowed to do that, which is good. I have to be up and at'em for him. I have to care for him. I feel needed. It's pretty great!

~My love for Kyle- I cant even explain how much I love that man. Period.

~Coffee- Yep, every morning, I have to have it! Some say I'm addicted, but it could be worse! LOL

~Our home- Some asked if I'd move back home while Kyle is deployed. NO. We have our house here. We love it! And it gives me something to do, something to work to keep up. It's nice to be able to come "home" wherever that may be!

~Rigs- He is our first baby. Our furbaby. Most days I want to ring his neck, or toss him across the room, but for the most part, I love him! hahaha

~My FIT- It gets me to SC and back every time, with no problems... Except for that nail in my tire... But at 40mpg, I couldnt ask for a better little car! :)

Ok, that is all for now. I may think of more later.....
