Friday Fragments, for real??

Friday Fragments? What?? I havent fragmented in probably 2 years, but it's about time I do! Please join me and the fun with Mrs. 4444 :)

** So, it's been awhile, but I wont catch everyone up here. However I do have a 20 month old now, and there's never a dull moment at this house! EVER! We had been playing outside, so that's why he is bright RED! One of our 2 days to play outside, because it's supposed to be 104* tomorrow, 106* Saturday! What in the world? LOL This is crazy hot for Eastern NC!

** We got a fish this week (Thursday)! I wish my sweet Bug was big enough to name him. I'm thinking about Sherman, but I'm wanting the husband's approval first, so I'll update next week!

** My husband has been "in the sandbox" for 100 days as of yesterday (Thursday). The past 100 days have flown by and I pray that the next 100 fly as well! And hopefully it wont be a full 100 before he is HOME!!! :)
Day 0
Day 100
(I tried to get the lettering on the pic and Powerpoint wasnt cooperating! GRRR)

** Speaking of 100 days, I have been posting a picture a day of Bug on my Facebook. It's nice to hear my fellow Army wives say that they too look forward to seeing his picture of the day and to see what shenanigans he's into! haha And I know my husband enjoys seeing the Bugger!!

** This is the last week to send a box to my DH!! To those of you who dont really know what that means, it usually means that they will start packing up to come home within the next two months, once they cut mail off!!! YAY!

** I went to the dentist Monday to have a regular cleaning. While there, they were looking at my xrays from the last time I was there and they said I should go ahead and get my wisdom teeth out. :( I am SO not looking forward to this! July 16th is the day. I only have two to get taken out, both on the left side, so I guess that's a good thing? My bestie (http://pearsonpress.blogspot.com/) is going to come take care of me. I love her! She is so sweet to drive 3.5 hours and bring 2 (maybe all 3) of her kids along! LOL It'll be a full house!

** I dont have a lot to fragment about. Sad, but true. I am looking forward to next week though and hopefully I'll have more fragments! I will be visiting family and celebrating Independence Day with them! My brother always puts on a crazy good fireworks show! And we might even try and go to the Atlanta zoo next week and I may have visitors next weekend! Surely I'll have more fragments then! haha

** Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully I didnt bore anyone to tears!

Until next week, always remember to take one day at a time!

It's 104 here, and we live near Chicago. What is going on? We have had no rain. But then I think of those flooded out in FL, and those dealing with the aftermath of fire in CO, and I know we can handle the heat.

Your son reminds me of one of my favorite fourth graders from this past year, my Brian. He was all boy, got in some trouble sometimes (never with me), and had a servant's heart--and freckles.

Thank you for serving our country. Your sacrifices matter too!

I'm a little south of you in Columbia, SC and looking at the same mouth-dropping temps - I'm sweating just thinking about it! :) I hope your next 100 days are shorter than expected, and best of luck with your wisdom teeth!

It is amazing how our children's lives will be chronicled on Facebook and in web-based medium. There is barely 10 pictures of me as a kid around.

Ellen, you are right! Mother nature ain't messin' around these days! :(
Cheryl, I'm actually from Spartanburg, SC! :) Which is where I'll be enjoying Independence day!
Thanks Bestie!
Wayne, it is crazy how much I post on FB! And I dont have very many pictures of me as a kid. Gosh, what would it had been like if my parents had Facebook in the 80s! haha

I think Sherman sounds like a fine name! I know you will be so happy to have your husband home! I have friends who have been deployed and know how hard it is on the families left behind as well as the one deployed!

Your son is beautiful and sounds as active as our 20 month old grandson. He loves the water and the sprinkler.

Hope your husband returns safe and sound and the next days go by quickly for you!

Sorry about the wisdom teeth, but I'm really happy you'll be in good hands :)

Is it just me, or is your son big for his age? Only 20 months???

Here's hoping that the time leading up to your reunion with your husband speeds by :)

With all of your energy, none of your fragments come off as boring :) Thanks for linking up!
