TGIF y'all! I'm fragmenting two in a row!! Woohoo! If you'd like to join Mrs 4444 for Friday Fragments, click her name or click the pretty button :)

** Its already Friday morning... And here I am, tying to fragment my week.... Lets see how this goes... ;)
** The hubby and I went to register on Saturday and Sunday last weekend. We started out at a Walmart about an hour away from here. We figured they'd be less picked-over than the Walmarts around here... Well, we got there only to find out that this particular Walmart doesnt have the scanners/machines to let people register INSIDE the store. The nearest one, well, hubby had given up as soon as they said we don't do it here... So, we didn't register at Wallyworld. The clerk told us that we could do it online. Well, duh. But I want to see, touch, feel stuff that I'm registering for. UGh
Our second stop on Saturday was Target. Had a good experience there. But didn't register for a whole lot. Most important was a little Space-saver High chair... =)
Third and final stop was BabiesRUs on Sunday. We scanned everything under the sun there! LOL We really had a good time and played and felt how soft stuff was and all that jazz.
** After registering, we went to supper to celebrate hubby's birthday. We stopped at a Japanese hibachi steakhouse. Never been there before. We sat with strangers. One single guy sat beside me, then there was a family of 5 which consisted of mom, dad, son, grandma and grandpa. We ate, we laughed at the cook, which was one of the best we've ever had, and then it was time to pay and leave. Somehow, us being in the Army came in conversation (which it always does somehow, whether by uniform or hubby's haircut or stance gives it away). I went to the restroom and so did the mom of the family. When I came back, hubby says, "the guy on the end paid for ours." (the dad of the family) =O WOW. Seriously? Really? Who does that these days? But, how awesome! I'm still somewhat shocked. When we left, they told us congratulations and thanks for serving. (they also knew we are expecting) Coolest birthday gift ever, right? =)
** The pup, Rigsby, got a haircut. Poor dog cant get a symmetrical cut EVER. So then we are left with a jacked-up cut that we try to trim to make it look better... Its always interesting. I wish I had a picture of hubby trying to trim the dog's hair! LOL
** My dad calls me last night. I hardly talk to mom and dad. Not because I dont want to, but I just forget to call from being busy and they forget too. Anyway. He calls to ask me where I bought his wallet that I gave him. I say, "when was the last time I bought you a wallet? I cant even remember!" He says, "oh, about 3 or 4 YEARS ago." REALLY? Seriously? Dad, I have no clue where I got your wallet! LOL He's a funny guy... But he was dead serious!
** The bug finally kicked for hubby (daddy) on Tuesday. I was so glad he finally got to feel the baby kick! It was a sweet moment. We sat and waited for a minute or so, and then he kicked and hubby says "was that it?!" and I looked up, smiled and just about screamed with excitement, "YES!" Then we sat for another couple minutes and he never moved again. Its too funny, I think he knows when its daddy's hand on mommy's tummy... He sits still! ;)
** My car has developed an oil leak... I just dont get how a 2004, Mazda 3 can have an oil leak. I expect it from an old clunker, but seriously? Oh well, it IS on its 3rd transmission, has been in two accidents and hesitates when idling and feels like it will just cut off! I'd say its a LEMON... And of course, we OWN it so we dont have payments, and its not under warranty. I'm just ready to get a new one! LOL but NOT a Mazda3!
** Hubby is participating in his first Duathalon tomorrow morning. Two of the three parts of a Triathalon. Its a 5K run and then a 15 mile cycling route. I'm excited for him! He's had his bike for about a month and a half and absolutely LOVES cycling!! I'll try to update on this next week to let you know how he finished!
** Ok. I think that's all for now. Its about time to get ready for work. I hope everybody enjoys their weekend!
